Anita A. Valverde

Jan 12, 1922 - June 7, 2016

Anita Valverde, age 94, beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away on June 7th. Born and raised in Stockton, Anita was married to the love of her life; Gonzalo "Chalo" for over 50 years. She was preceded in death by Chalo and sons; John and Kenneth. She is survived by her son; Jerry (Marci), grandsons Michael (Lori) and Christopher of Stockton and Anthony of Haleiwa, Hawaii and her great grandchildren; Jaxon and Greyson.

She will be remembered as a very special lady who was dedicated to her family and her faith. She also leaves behind her brother; James Guerrero, sister in laws; Sally Villalovoz and Darlene Valverde, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A special Thank You to family members Alfred DelPrato, George & Tresa Lozano and Bob & Mykel Munoz for their constant love and support.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 14,2016 from 12 noon to 5:00 pm at DeYoung Memorial Chapel, 601 N. California Street, followed by Rosary at 6:30, St. George's Catholic Church. Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 15th at 10:00 am at St. George's Catholic Church. She will be laid to rest at San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery.
