Anita M. Montes was born in Stockton on July 29, 1943. She is preceded in death by her parents Antonio and Juana Benavides and her husband Gilbert A. Montes. Anita is survived by her brother Richard Benavides; daughters Vanessa Rodriguez, Denza Montes and Denise Casillas; 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was loved by everyone who knew her. Her passion was to take care of her family and she was always the life of the party. Anita will be truly missed by all.
A Visitation will be held on Monday, February 17, 2014 from 4-8 pm at Frisbie-Warren & Carroll Mortuary, 809 N. California St. in Stockton. The Rosary will begin at 6 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at 10 am at the Cathedral of the Annunciation, 400 W. Rose St. Stockton, CA 95203. Committal will follow at Cherokee Memorial Park in Lodi.
