Agustin Lim Tuban Sr.

Agustin Lim Tuban, Sr. was born in Tibiao, Antique, Philippines to Pablo Tuban & Candida Lim. He was the loving husband of the late Wenifreda Ostan Tuban whom he married on August 15, 1956. Father to Vic Tuban (Josenia), Elvie Galela (Ramon Jr.), Ed Tuban (Maria Linda), Evangeline Cainap (Ramon Eugene), Agustin Tuban Jr. (Elenita), and Val Tuban (Marilyn). Grandfather to Ann Marie (Romel), Faith (Keneth), Irrel (Raquel), Doryvic (Daryl), Ryan, Mark, Kevin, Edmar, Edmalin, Edilson, Junelen, Catherine, Val Ivan, Pio, and Winnie Faye. Great grandfather to Nicko, Andrew, Niamh, Sam, Tara, Francis, Therese, Sophie, and Margaret. He migrated to the USA in 1991 to be with his daughter, Elvie, and her family.

Agustin, Sr. was a very hardworking man from the start. Alongside his wife of 61 years, they worked as farmers and had their own business selling dry goods. All of their efforts were towards raising their children and granting them the education that they desired. He was a man of very few words, but his kindness and unconditional love had always been reciprocated by many. Never did he fail to light up the room with his sweet smile and gestures. A man and a father like him is rare as he devotedly worked hard for the dreams of his children and persevered through the challenges in life.

He lived a fruitful 90 years of life, thanks to the glory of God. Starting from when he migrated here to the USA, Agustin, Sr. had traveled and experienced many wonders of the world with his family. Among the things he experienced, watching sabong (cockfighting) in the Philippines and going to the casino with his family were what he enjoyed the most.

The memories of Agustin, Sr. will forever instill deep in our hearts. As those memories will give us comfort knowing that he is in the great hands of God and has rejoined with the soul of his wife at the gates of Heaven. He will be truly missed and will be loved, always.
