Thank you for the opportunity to have cared for Yvonne.  Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Yvonne was a very good friend of ours at Kmart years ago.  She and I worked together in the Electronics Dept.  She was always a good friend and we shared some great times together.  I want to extend my deepest heartfelt sympathy to the Wilkins and Holcombe families at this time.  She will be truly missed.

We shared a special bond. We both lost our husbands in 2012, she was such an inspiration to me. I can see her now raising her sweet little hand up to praise the Lord at Community Baptist Church. We will miss her so very much.

I would be willing to bet that a lot of us kids share some of the same wonderful memories of being at Aunt Yvonne and Uncle Red's house. Who remembers the plastic kitchenware? Or the John Wayne memorabilia that Uncle Red collected and Yvonne's cabinet full of Barbara Mandrell? I got my love for watching westerns from Uncle Red and it was Aunt Yvonne who introduced me to Conway Twitty's music. She also introduced me to the trick 5 dollar bill. :P I remember the smell of their basement and how I would go straight to the basement door every time I went to their house just to be able to smell it. I loved their basement and going down there with Yvonne when she was looking for something. It was like an adventure every time. I remember the 'True Stories' and Reader's Digest magazines and numerous catalogs that she always had laying around the house, the smell of bacon cooking and a cake baking, the old register in the kitchen and how she loved to sit outside under the awning just visiting. But most of all I will always remember the feeling of love when you went to their house. It was comfortable and you always felt at home. I spent a lot of time there when I was younger and Mawmaw was still alive. I regret not visiting as much as an adult. I'm going to miss Yvonne very much and look forward to the day that I can be reunited with all of my family in Heaven.

more than a few times Yvonne got me out of a bind @ even helped save my wifes life never asking for favor or recognition.The most christian lady I've ever known,always of good humor even in strife, she will be greatly missed.

Heaven has welcomed home another angel. Thoughts and prayers for this family. Yvonne has been a very dear family friend for so many years, she will missed by so many. Jerry & Debbie Crider
