William Eugene Carr, 84, of Atlanta, passed away on July 27, 2014. He was predeceased by his parents, David and Audrey Carr; brothers Clarence L. Carr, Sr., Howard Carr, Jerry N Carr, Sr; sisters, Betty Pharr, and Retha Carr; niece, Pamela Carr. William was a retired Warehouse supervisor for Rich’s Department store and served in the US Army.
He is survived by nieces Kelly Pharr of Ellenwood, Retha Al’Sadiq of Stone Mountain; nephews Clarence L Carr, Jr. of Jonesboro, Jerry N Carr, Jr. of Monticello; sister-in-laws, Myrtle Carr and Carolyn Carr; cousins, great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2014, at 1pm at Forest Hills Cemetery, Forest Park, GA. Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4-8pm at the Horis A. Ward Fairview Chapel funeral home.
