Sonia Yadeli Villegas Cervantes

Sonia was born December 27th,1984 in Los Mochis Sinaloa, Mexico to Maria Dolores Cervantes Navarrete and Martin Alonso Villegas Verdugo.

Sonia was always so full of life. She loved her family, daughter and grandchildren with everything within her. She cared so much about everyone that came into her life. Sonia loved butterflies so much that her room is full of small butterflies that she put all over her walls. She enjoyed everything she did and she did everything with a smile on her face. Sonia is loved by so many people and her passing leaves a huge hole in all of our hearts.

Sonia was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Josefina Navarrete Negrete.

She is survived by her mother, Maria Dolores Cervantes Navarrete; father, Martin Alonso Villegas Verdugo; stepfather, Fransisco Javier Rios; husband, Luis Rosario Gutierrez Diaz; one daughter, Aylin Elizabeth Gutierrez Villegas; four grandchildren, Anny Monserrat Martinez Gutierrez, Anibal Tadeo Gutierrez Villegas, Mia Daylin Gutierrez Villegas, and Dayleth Martinez Gutierrez; and three sisters, Maria Cristina Villegas Cervantes, Leidy Martina Villegas Cervantes, and Nora Lleli Villegas Cervantes.

Message to Sonia from her Mother:

Tu eres mi segunda hija, mi segundo corazón. Siempre fuiste una niña alegre y traviesa

pero con un corazón grande, que abarcaba a todo el mundo. Siempre preocupada por los

demás, tú llegaste aquí para alegrarme la vida, madre como yo siempre te decía por

siempre mi amor. Siempre tu me decias ya se ma. Te amo con todo mi corazón mi

princesita hermosa.

Message to Sonia from her Daughter:

Le doy gracias por darme la vida y por los momentos que mi dios me la prestó, todos

esos años que estuvo a mi lado. Me hará mucha falta a mi y a mis hijos. Que nunca la

olvidaremos y siempre estará en nuestra mente y corazón. Le echaré mucho de menos

porque es el respaldo de mi vida. Yo no se que hare sin la mitad de mi corazón con

usted, La extrañaré muchísimo mami. Te amo con todo mi corazón.

A visitation of family and friends will be held for Sonia on Monday, May 9, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home - Fairview Chapel | 376 Fairview Road Stockbridge, Georgia 30281. A celebration of her life will occur Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at 10:30 AM at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church | 591 Flint River Road Jonesboro, GA 30238. Services will conclude with a graveside committal service at Fairview Memorial Gardens | 164 Fairview Road Stockbridge, Georgia 30281.
