Shirley Anne Mitchell, age 80, of Covington, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2015. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home - Fairview Chapel at 3:30 pm, with Art Stansberry and Alec Ward officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Stockbridge.
She is survived by: son, Herbert A. Britt Jr. & wife Cheryl, daughter, Debbie Britt, sister, Vickie Garmon, brothers; James Bailey Jr. and Ronald (Butch) Bailey, grandson, Zack Britt, several nieces & nephews
She was preceded in death by husband, Gene Mitchell, daughter Terri Lee Britt, sister Nancy Jarrett and brother, Michael Bailey.
