Roy enjoyed football and Nascar racing, but most importantly, he loved spending time with his family. He was a master plumber and retired from Pumphrey Plumbing after many years of service. His wife, Dianne “Presh”, was the love of his life. They have been together since they were 14 and 15 years old and were married for 60 years. Roy will be deeply missed by his wife, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
In addition to his parents, Clifford Cash and Virginia Simpson, Roy was preceded in death by two sisters, Janice Bales and Frances Moss; two brothers, Ted Cash and Paul Mosley; and one son, Darrin Cash.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Mrs. Dianne Cash; daughter, Delana Cash Brackett; son, Danny Cash (Tricia); nine grandchildren, Brandon, Breanna, Jordan, Devyn, Jared and Brooke Brackett, Brittany and Jon Edge, and Anna Cash; five great grandchildren, Jaxon, Laken, Karter, and Copelyn Brackett, and Aiden Benson Edge; three siblings, Renita Killcrease, Rebecca and Dave Fazzari; and a host of nieces and nephews, special nephews Chad Buice, and Larry (Snuffy) Raines.
Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Friday, March 24, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home - Fairview Chapel | 376 Fairview Road Stockbridge, Georgia 30281. Following the visitation will be a graveside celebration of life and committal service at Fairview Memorial Gardens | 164 Fairview Road Stockbridge, Georgia 30281.
