Robin Patrice “New York” Jackson was born May 1, 1964, in New York, New York, and raised in Teaneck, New Jersey. Robin was a graduate of Teaneck High School. She was a member of the school’s marching band as a Flag Corps. She loved music and was infatuated with Michael Jackson. Robin was strong, a true hustler, and a hard worker. Even on the days she was sick and not feeling well, she still got up to handle her business. She is well known by friends for her laughter and smile. People would say that she “was a happy person, always smiling, bringing laughter and joy into the room”.
Robin loved her family dearly. Her father was the apple of her eye and both her mother and daughter were the joys of her life. Robin adored her one and only child Krystina “Nana”. She constantly bragged on her, and their bond was unbreakable. Krystina is literally her twin. Those who knew Robin and Krystina best would say that Krystina talks like her, is loud, overdramatic, crack jokes, and looks like her. So much so that the family would call her “Little Robin”. Robin and Krystina shared an amazing relationship that will forever be missed.
Robin is survived by and leaves to cherish her memories, her daughter, Krystina Jackson; father, Chuck Jackson; mother, Betty Jackson; sister, Tracie Jackson; brother, Charles Jackson; and nephews, Antonio and Jaden Jackson.
