Robert Allen Turner

Bob was employed at Delta Airlines where he worked as a ramp agent and progressed to a supervisor role. He married the love of his life, Linda Turner, where they remained faithfully married until her passing in 2013. During his marriage to Linda, he gave his live to Christ and became a new man. Bob and Linda raised their two sons, Steve and Jeff. Bob loved his children, grandchildren, and was even thought of as another grandfather to the neighbors’ children. Bob was active in his church. He ran the church’s food bank helping to supply food to the needy in Henry County. Bob enjoyed playing golf in retirement with all his golfing buddies.

Bob has now received his heavenly award because of what Christ did for him on the cross. We will miss him but will surely see him again in due time. Bob was preceded in death by his father John Allen Turner, his mother Pearl Irene Walker, his son Robbie Turner, and his loving wife, Mrs. Linda Turner. He is survived by his stepson Steve Dean, daughter-in-law Lina Dean, son Jeff Turner, son Jamie Turner, grandchildren Lia Cooley, Josh Dean, Colton Turner, Trevor Turner, and great granddaughter Willow Rose Cooley.

A visitation of family and friends will be held for Robert on Friday, January 7, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home - Fairview Chapel | 376 Fairview Road Stockbridge, Georgia 30281. A celebration of life will begin at 12:00 Noon in Ward's Chapel. A graveside committal service will immediately follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens | 164 Fairview Rd, Stockbridge, Georgia 30281.
