Robert A Ball, age 83, of McDonough, Georgia passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2023. Robert was born in Richlands, North Carolina. He was born to the late Johnny and Aileen Ball.

Robert is survived by his daughter Ava Jean Emery; his daughter Sandra Kaye Durkit; his son Robert A. Ball II; and his daughter Christie A. Austin. Six grandchildren: Arica Webb, Josh Emery, Wesley Durkit, Aaron Durkit, Robby Ball, Samantha Maynard. Eight great grandchildren: Adrien Webb, Reese Webb, Mia Durkit, Aiden Durkit, Raely Emery, Lainey Emery, Kinsley Durkit, and Cali Rae Durkit. His Sisters Sidney Swanson, Barbara Garish, and Margaret Bush. A host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Velma Ball, sisters Mary Dean Dunn, and Faye Steimel.

Robert will be missed and will always be in our hearts.

A visitation for Robert will be held Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at 10:00 AM, followed by a graveside celebration of life at 11:00 AM.

Robert will be laid to rest in Fairview Memorial Gardens, 176 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, GA 30281.
