Ramona Holcombe Morgan

Ramona is preceded in death by her Parents, Robert Dewey and Nora Bell Holcombe, her Sister Joyce Van Horn, and her Grandson Jason Thomason. She is survived by her two Sisters, Jean Sellars and Dawn (Donnie) Lee, her 2 children Harold Leroy Thomason and Denise Thomason Hulsey, 3 Granddaughters, 4 Great Granddaughters and 1 Great Grandson, as well as many nieces and nephews and extended family.

She was also preceded in death by her two best friends, Betty Smith and Joann Yarborough. The three of them loved to travel and did so for over 60 years. Ramona was retired from the Center for Disease Control, and later retired again from Gwinnett County Transportation.

She loved singing - especially gospel hymns, traveling and most of all scratch off lottery tickets!

The family will receive guests for visitation from 12:00 noon until the hour of service. A celebration of life memorial service will be held for Ramona on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home - Fairview Chapel | 376 Fairview Road Stockbridge, Georgia 30281. Following the memorial service will be a graveside inurnment at approximately 2:00 PM at Fairview Memorial Gardens | 164 Fairview Road Stockbridge, Georgia 30281. Rev. Nolan Jackson, officiating.
