Mozell Crow Franklin

Mozell was born January 24, 1939 in Bryson City, North Carolina to Harrison and Emmie Crow. Mozell met and married the love of her life, Dewey Lee Franklin and they remained happily married supporting and loving each other for over 64 years. Together they raised their family to always be there for each other and love everyone.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harrison Crow; mother, Emmie White Crow; sisters, Arzellia Franklin, Barbara Roberts and Mildred Crow; brother, Luther Crow; son, Mark Franklin; daughter, Anita Franklin; grandson, Brian Franklin and husband, Dewey Lee Franklin.

Mozell's life will forever be remembered and cherished by her loving children, Janet Wilson (Harold), Lee Franklin (Barbie) and Paul Franklin; grandchildren, Christy McCombs (Chris), Kimberly "P-Nut" Franklin, PNuckle Franklin and Justin Franklin (Jade); great-grandchildren, Maliya Franklin, Kamden Franklin, Ayden Franklin, Andrew Franklin and Sweet Pea Franklin; sisters, Nellie Holland, Louella Cagle, Joyce Salyars, Vera Forrester and Brenda Roper; brothers, John Crow and James Crow; a host of other relatives and family friends.

Visitation for Mozell will be held on Friday, July 8, 2022 from 11:00AM-1:00PM at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home - Fairview Chapel, 376 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, Georgia 30281. Funeral Services will immediately follow in the chapel at 1:00 PM with burial in Fairview Memorial Gardens.
