Mary Lela Trammell

Mary was an avid gardener, dedicated homemaker, and a devout Christian. She was a devoted wife to her late husband Malcolm Trammell and a beloved sister to her late siblings, Virginia Chafin, Thomas Chafin, and Bud Chafin.

Mary is survived by her daughter Linda Dodds and is preceded in death by her late daughter Cynthia Trammell. Her legacy extends through surviving grandchildren: Elizabeth Lapp, Loraine Kirkiris, Frank Dodds, and Malcolm Dodds. Additionally, Mary is remembered by her surviving great-grandchildren: Brady Kirkiris, Luke Dodds, Andrew Dodds, and Caroline Dodds.

Her life, filled with love and familial bonds, will be cherished in the hearts of those she leaves behind. May she find eternal peace in the kingdom of heaven, reunited with her loved ones.

A visitation of family and friends will be held for Mary on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home - Fairview Chapel | 376 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, Georgia 30281. A celebration of her life will immediately follow in Ward's Chapel. Services will conclude with a graveside committal at Union Methodist Church Cemetery | 4600 GA-138, Stockbridge, GA 30281.
