John Lewis Childers

John Lewis Childers, age 63, of Conyers, Georgia, passed away on March 18, 2019. He was born to the late James and Marcella Childers in Douglasville, Georgia on April 30, 1955. John was a Tool & Dye maker for 42 years. He also worked for Clairon Metals. He loved his family, his friends and his co-workers. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his father.

John leaves to cherish his memory his mother; Marcella Childers, his wife; Mary R. Childers, his two sons; Chase and Colton Childers, his three grandchildren; Baden, Wyatt and Levi, three brothers, two sisters and a host of other relatives and friends.

Family and friends will be received for a visitation on Friday, March 22, 2019 from 6 PM to 8 PM at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home located at 376 Fairview Rd in Stockbridge, Georgia. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 11 AM at Horis A. Ward Fairview Chapel. Interment will take place at Melwood Cemetery in Stone Mountain, Georgia.
