As we visited our sweet NAPC greeter in September 2023 to deliver flowers, once again we were greeted with grace and hospitality. Jeanette's sharing her treasures - her numerous beautiful  broaches holds a special memory. This remarkable woman will be missed.

No words to describe this beautiful, amazing and loving woman. I had the pleasure of meeting her and her late husband JC over 17 years ago and through it all she remained the same. She will greatly be missed by all the staff at Kaiser Permanente Southwood Facility especially the Laboratory. Fly high my sweet angel and may her family find peace and comfort in GOD during this time. Rest in peace WARD!!!!

We at the Kaiser Southwood location will truly miss Mrs. Ward. She would always come in with a smile on her face and she always complimented us in the lab on our work.  She loved hearing Tasha saying The Wards!!!! We will miss her dearly.

Jeannette was such a welcoming and loving presence at North Avenue! Even when she becoming more frail, she still had the brightest smile and always interacted with our infant and got him to smile back at her. She blessed so many people, and we already miss her at church!

Jeanette was always ready to greet me, wearing all her bling and her warm smile. She would be there even if she had to use a stool to sit part of the time. I will so miss her presence among us.

I took this photo of Jeannette at North Avenue Presbyterian when we celebrated her 95th birthday. I always looked forward to a hug and a conversation with Jeannette every Sunday. She had a great sense of humor and so many stories to share. I will miss her dearly.

Jeanette was such a faithful presence at North Avenue - greeting people, smiling, and paying attention to the smallest opening in a conversation (that you thought might just be “small talk”) to share her heart and what God had taught her over the course of her long and amazing life. What a blessing she was… thanks be to God!

She will be deeply missed at North Avenue. It brought me so much joy to see her faithfully welcoming people Sunday after Sunday.

Jeannette appreciated seeing photographs of the arrangements as well as receiving flowers. I am thankful she reminded me that I was missing something beautiful if I did not pay attention to the colorful creations. Thank you,  Jeannette.
