Jim married the former Judith Wise, July 10, 1964.
He was the son of the late Charles and Faye Hungate and the late Willard Wise and Grace Wise Womac (in-laws).
He was also predeceased by a daughter, Shelly Marie Hungate.
James is survived by his loving wife, Judith Elaine Wise Hungate; sons, James Richard and Sylvia Hungate, Stockbridge, Ga;
Chad William Hungate, Phenix City, AL; and Ryan Wayne Hungate, Stockbridge, GA.
James was a graduate of East High School and attended Technical School in Phoenix, AZ
Jim retired from TRW in Fremont, OH where he was a maintenance journeyman and a member of the Steelworkers.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Funeral Services held at the Horis A. Ward Funeral Home-Fairview Chapel, Stockbridge, Georgia on Friday, January 30, 2015 at 3 pm. Visitation on Friday prior to the service from 12 to 3 pm.
