Peter Lum Mui

Peter L. Mui, age 73, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2022. At time of passing, he was surrounded by his wife Mariana, children Tammy, Shirley and Richard with his siblings and their children and his brother-in-law and wife. He was born on December 8, 1949, in Hong Kong to King C. and Hung Ying Mui.

Peter is survived by his wife Mariana, children daughter Tammy Liang (Jason, son-in-law, and grandchildren Ethan and Ellee), Shirley Bui (Tan, son-in-law and grandchildren Zackary and Zoey, and Richard Mui (Katie, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren Sarina and Loukas) from eldest to youngest. In addition, survived by his siblings Zhao Jun Liang, Paul Mui, Carmel Ng, Ernest Mui and Jeanie Mui.

There are no words to truly describe our father Peter L. Mui. He is remembered and regarded by his wife, children, grandchildren, and extended family as a very humble, respectful, caring man, willingness to help others and most importantly the best husband, father, and grandfather.

The visitation and funeral will be held at Mt. Auburn Funeral Home, 4101 South Oak Park Avenue, Stickney, IL 60402, (708) 749-2033, on Tuesday, December 27, 2022.

Visitation hours are from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, funeral service is at 11:00 am and the burial will take place at Mt. Auburn Memorial Park, (708) 749-0022.
