Born in Iredell County, he was the son of the late Flake Nance and Ethel Wyatt Nance.
Mr. Nance retired from Burlington Mills after many years of service as a truck driver.
Those left to cherish his memory is the mother of his children, Annie Nance; children, Glenda (Norman) Nance, Keith (Wanda) Nance, Angela Gregorio and Kim (Gustavo) Juarez; ten grandchildren, Amie (Pedro) Gregorio, Josh (Nancy) Inscore, Maria Juarez, Beni Juarez, Brian (Kristina) Nance, Brandon Nance, Mason Nance, Ashley (Ulises) Orellana, Michael Nance and Kayanna Nance.
He is further survived by twelve great-grandchildren, Valentina, Jo-Jo, Caleb, Isaiah, Nathalia, Gabriel, Giovanni, Isaac, Gavino, Ivanna, Jeremiah and Aurora; and a very special niece, Linda Sue Dyson.
The family will receive friends, Thursday, December 15, 2016 from 6:00 Pm – 8:00 PM at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, December 16, 2016 at Union Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. William Wease officiating. Burial will follow at Iredell Memorial Gardens.
Serving as pallbearers will be Mason Nance, Beni Juarez, Michael Nance, Brandon Nance, Brian Nance, Josh Inscore, Ulises Orellana and Randall Nance.
