He graduated from Statesville High School and was the owner of a paint and body shop. He was a former member of Beulah Baptist Church in Statesville, and a current member of Troutman Baptist Church.
Randy was very Godly and generous person. He never met a stranger and he was always happy to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, no matter the circumstances. He truly was everything to everybody, not only to his family, but to everyone whose life he touched.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Sybil Marie Sherrill Neaves; brothers, Tim Neaves, and Keith Neaves; and Allen Bustle.
Randy is survived by his wife of 19 years, Pam Goldbaugh Neaves; sons, Christopher Allen Neaves, and George Yocum, III, both of Troutman; daughters, Miranda Lea Neaves of Moore, SC, Sonya Cook (Lorne) of Statesville, Jennifer Mayo of Troutman, and Krystin Yocum (Edward Waugh) of Myrtle Beach, SC; grandchildren, Christopher Allen Randall Neaves, Jonathan Ryan Neaves, Kelsey Marie Bean, Timothy Kit Murray, Emalee Money, Nathan Money, Jackson Cook, Piper Mayo, Eli Waugh, and Emmarie Waugh; brothers, Mike Neaves, and Ricky Neaves; sister, Lisa McGee (Mike); extended family, Shirley Bustle, and Sybil Tyson; family friends, Kevin Lewandoske, and Tim Lloyd; and his beloved dog, Sarge.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 13, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home. A graveside service, with Pastor Barbara Bunton officiating, will follow at 3:30 p.m. at Beulah Church Cemetery.
