Erik was known for his kind and helpful nature. He was a friend to many, always willing to lend a helping hand and bring happiness to those around him. He had a contagious smile that would light up a room. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his father, Glenn Edward Ramsey; brother, Edward Nathaniel Ramsey; stepbrother, Shawn Austin Holland; stepmother, Regina Ann Quick; and paternal grandfather, Nathaniel Ramsey. Erik was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Wilkes Ramsey; maternal grandmother, Betty Katherine Wilkes; maternal grandfather, Otis Fred Wilkes; and paternal grandmother, Alma Sue Ramsey.
Erik is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends who loved him tremendously.
Erik graduated from Presley School and later pursued a career at Two Men and a Truck. He found joy in playing video games and cherishing moments with his family.
A service to honor Erik's life will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at Christ Boulevard United Methodist Church, located at 1947 East Broad Street, Statesville, NC. with the Rev. Bobby Rackley officiating. Visitation will occur before the service from 1:30 p.m. - 2:45 p.m.
