Born and raised in Stapleton, she moved to Grasmere in 1982. She was a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Stapleton.
A graduate of Curtis High School, Vivian worked as an executive secretary to the senior vice president of the former Seaman’s Bank for Savings on Wall Street. She retired in 1990.
Proud of her Scandinavian heritage, she enjoyed all the Christmas traditions. She was always there for her family with her love and support. In her retirement years, Vivian liked going to flea markets and yard sales where she shared her knowledge and interest in collectibles and antiques with her family.
Vivian was predeceased by her parents, Gustav and Georgine Leonard; her four brothers, Gustav, Clifford, Archie and Henry Leonard: her three sisters, Ruth Muller, Solvei Prochaska and Gloria Kehoe and by her nephew, Donald J. Kehoe, Jr.
She is survived by her nieces, Nancy Muller, Georgine Colonnello, Dale Lohmann and Jane Fraser, her nephews, Bruce Leonard and Gary Kehoe and numerous grandnieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to Trinity Lutheran Church, Stapleton would be appreciated.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Harmon Funeral Home. Funeral services were private.
