Thomas was born in Manhattan in 1941, the only child of Louis and Concetta. As a child his parents loved to summer on Staten Island, and when he was a young teenager, they permanently moved to South Beach. He graduated from New Dorp High School, where he met his sweetheart and devoted wife of 60 years Agatha Guercia. They resided in Great Kills in a house he built with the help of his father in law. He was a member the Pipefitters Local #1 and later became a Licensed Master Plumber. He went on to open his own businesses, Woodrow Contracting and Pecora & Sons. Plumbing & Heating. The love and devotion he had to his family was evident as he headed his son’s Cub Scout groups, enjoyed coaching numerous Pee Wee football teams, Great Kills Little League baseball teams and his daughter’s softball teams. He loved gardening and growing his own fresh fruits & vegetables. He had a deep passion for cooking, and he could often be found in the kitchen cooking something delicious. His favorite place to be was surrounded by his wife Aggie, his children, his grandchildren, and family & friends.
He is survived by his wife Agatha, 4 children Louis, Rose Ann, Michele & Charles. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and one greatgrandchild.
