Salvatore Trimboli, 65, from Staten Island NY passed away, unexpectedly on September 5th, 2023. Sal was born on January 16, 1958, in Brooklyn, New York, the son of Rocco and Angelina Trimboli. He is survived by his beloved wife Maria, children Daniel and Laura Fiebert, their spouses Marie and Andrew, and 4 grandchildren, Marco, Liliana, Spencer, and Lucy, as well as his two brothers, Joseph and Robert. Sal’s extended family including nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law, cousins, and great-nephews were always near and dear and an important part of his life. He will forever be remembered for his love and loyalty to his family and friends.
Sal had many varying interests and lived a life dedicated to his passions. He loved many sports, especially baseball, particularly the NY METS and spent many years under the Varsity Umpires, umpiring in Great Kills SI. He was committed to his career and worked for the same company, DTCC for 44 years, just recently retiring a few months ago. He appreciated rock music and going to concerts, especially YES and Queen. Vacationing with family, particularly the grandchildren, being Pop-Pop, and going to relax at the pool club were the highlights of his life.
Services for Salvatore Trimboli will be held on Sunday, September 10th from 2-6 PM at Casey Funeral Home, 30 Nelson Avenue in SI NY. Funeral and Mass will be held at Saint Clare Church, Monday September 11th at 11:00 AM, followed by interment at Resurrection Cemetery.
