RoseMarie (nee Giarletta) was born on October 29, 1943 and raised in Tompkinsville. She attended P.S. 16 and Curtis High School. She married her childhood sweetheart, Frederick, in 1964 and settled in New Dorp to raise their family. The love of her husband and family were the ultimate priority throughout her life, especially her three grandchildren who she absolutely adored more than anything in life and loved watching them grow, being there for them through anything and everything they did.
Rose Marie cherished vacations with her husband and family, Saturday trips to Atlantic City, loved the New York Yankees and watching “her” game shows. However, her most cherished times were family gatherings. RoseMarie was the family matriarch hosting Sunday Dinners.
RoseMarie left behind a legacy of family traditions that will continue to live through her children, grandchildren and nieces. She is going to be missed immensely by all of us and will live on in our hearts forever.
RoseMarie was predeceased by her parents, Ralph and Emilia (Millie) Giarletta, her brother, Ralph (Jr.), her sister, Rachel and her nephew, James. She is survived by her husband, Fred, children Freddy and Claudine, daughter-in-law Shannon Cammarano, son-in-law Mark Iannuzzelli, grandchildren Bailey and her husband Joseph, Alex and Riley.
RoseMarie will be reposing at Casey Funeral Home located at 350 Slosson Ave, Staten Island, NY on Wednesday May 31st from 4-8pm. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Christopher's Church on Staten Island followed by entombment at Moravian Cemetery on Staten Island.
