Raymond E. Murtha, 73, life long Staten Islander passed away at Richmond University Medical Center on August 17th with loved ones at his side. A graduate of Port Richmond HS, he went on to receive a degree in political science from Brookdale College. He is survived by his two brothers; James Murtha, William Murtha, and two sisters; Maureen McKeever, Colleen Murtha; several nieces and nephews, and lifelong companion, Tatianna Isaeva, and her son Alex Isaev. Mr. Murtha will be remembered for his love of music, history, and traveling, and most of all, his quick wit. Services will be held at Casey Funeral Home. Visiting is Sunday 2 to 6 p.m. Mass of the Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Good Counsel RC Church. Interment is at St. Peters Cemetery.
