Peter was a family man! He often shared pics of being Dad and hubby, with excitement.  He was respected and loved by his students! Working along him, as a coworker,  in the English department, we collaborated often with new creative ideas and adaptions for my curriculum. 
Have many memories spending  time during school hours. Rest In Peace, my friend! 🙏🏽💕

Pete, you were an amazing person, teacher, and friend. You made everyone in your presence feel welcomed and entertained. Your humor still has me laughing out loud whenever I reminisce on all your antics and the crazy stuff you use to say. You were the backbone of the close-knit group of coworkers that I was privileged to know. I’ll always cherish our happy hours, Poconos trips, long conversations during my prep period, and our group trip to the DR. You are one of the best people I had the honor to call a friend. You will be forever missed.

Cennamooooo as would call you in the hallways if John Bartram Hugh School where we worked together for several years. Your great personality made it easier to come to work every day. Your teaching and acting background was very unique and special. Something I always admired.

Mr. Cennamo was a vital part of the Bartram family. He ws a great person to work with. He was willing to pick up other task along the way. Bartram will miss you, your laugh and your smile. You were full of energy and hope for the stydents, teachers and staff. 

A superhero is a benevolent fictional character with superhuman powers. The characteristics of an superhero are extraordinary ability, moral conviction, great courage and a mission to serve. Peter Cennamo is he was affectionately known by you all was your loved one and relative. But to us he was a beloved teacher that shared all the qualities and characteristics of an superhero. Albert Einstein quoted "the only reason for time is so that everything doesn't happen at once" there is nothing that Mr. C did that had happened at once but he was a great educator and mentor in all that he did.  Our lives changed we became adults and have many responsibilities of our own and still throughout all these years Mr. C was an amazing teacher that help mold us to the people we are today. The graduating class of 2004 remembers him with over a decade of time going pass. He showed these traits on the daily basis since we walked into his classroom. While we were his English and Drama students he first and foremost cared about our overall quality of life. To get a caring teacher in the school district of Philadelphia is rare- by the way. We are so proud that we shared these moments with our dear Mr. C. To his family and friends our prayers and comfort are with you. He will forever be in our hearts.

Peter was a remarkable person and awesome father to his children. He will always be in our thoughts and prayers. The journey only continues and never truly ends. Heaven will welcome Peter. May he rest in peace.
