Margaret M. Sweeney "Peg"

Margaret “Peg” Sweeney (Morgan) of Manchester, NJ, formerly of Princes Bay, Staten Island and originally from Bronx, NY passed away on September 5, 2023. Peg was the beloved wife of Cyril, who pre-deceased her. Loving mother of Kathryn Blauth, Kristine Mulvey, and Doug Sweeney. Dear mother-in-law of Kathleen Sweeney, Charlie Blauth, and Peter Mulvey. Cherished grandmother of Sean and Kaitlyn Sweeney. Devoted daughter of the late Hugh and Mary Morgan.

Throughout her life, Peg was dedicated to her family, friends (including her pets), and career as a registered nurse. Her life’s journey blessed Peg with many friends and a thirst for travel. Later in her life, she was able to fulfill her childhood dream of traveling throughout the United States. Peg could always be counted on to have a smile, calm demeanor, and a book. While she did encounter challenges in life, she was able to persevere and thrive by relying upon her faith.

Family and friends are welcomed to gather Friday, September 8, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8 PM at Harmon Funeral Home, 571 Forest Ave, Staten Island, NY 10310. A funeral mass will be offered Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 9:30 AM at St. Peters Church, 53 St Marks Place, Staten Island, NY 10301.
