Kathleen Brady

Kathleen Brady, 77, passed away on December 7, 2021 from Alzheimer's. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, and she will be greatly missed. She was born on June 28, 1944 to James and Catherine Ernst, graduated from Tottenville HS, and married Patrick Brady. They had 3 children and were happily married for 59 years. Kathleen attended FIT for fashion illustration. She enjoyed drawing, decorating, cooking, gardening, going to casinos in AC, entertaining, writing, and spending time with her family. She wrote beautiful letters, children's stories, and an inspirational gardening book. She and her husband enjoyed spending time in their house in LBI. Her smile, kindness, wit, and humor were infectious and heartwarming. She loved deeply and wholeheartedly and we take comfort in knowing that Kathleen is now at peace. Kathleen was predeceased by siblings Mary, Eileen and James. She is survived by her husband Patrick, her children Patrick, Scott, and Pamela, and her grandchildren David, Mary, Linus and Sam. Services will be held at Casey Funeral Home, 350 Slosson Ave, Friday, December 10, 2021 from 4-8pm. The funeral mass will take place Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 10:30 am at Holy Family Church, followed by a repast. The family welcomes flowers and plants, or donations made to the Alzheimer's Association.
