Born in Rosebank, he moved to Brooklyn in 1951 and returned to Staten Island in 2006, settling in Charleston.
Mr. Pucciarelli was a butcher for 60 years. Forty of those years were at an A&P supermarket in Brooklyn. He also worked for smaller shops in Brooklyn as well as at his late brother Antonio's supermarket on the Island. He retired in 2001.
He was a volunteer for the Bay Ridge Ambulance Corps. In addition, he was an usher at St. Ephrem's R.C. Church and Our Lady of Perpetual Help R.C. Church in Brooklyn and at Our Lady Help of Christians R.C. Church in Tottenville.
Mr. Pucciarelli is survived by his wife of 63 years, the former Lucy Proscia; his three sons, Michael, Domenic and Joseph; his brother, Donato, and four grandchildren.
The funeral will be Monday from the Casey Funeral Home, Castleton Corners, with a mass at 10:30 a.m. in St. Ephrem's Church. Burial will be in Green-Wood Cemetery, Brooklyn.
