I am Michael Leahy -a first cousin of John's - from West Cork Ireland. I only met John once in 1988 @ Joan Houlihan's house in New York . though we only spent a few hours in his company I found him to be  a gentleman and quite handsome . May God be good to him and may he rest in Peace. My thoughts and prayers are with him and all the family.

My deepest heartfelt sorrow goes out for you  Maria, as well as to his family, children, grandchildren, and friends. John was a an amazing man, caring husband and father who was loved by so many, including myself. We have truly lost a great one.
