Born on December 20, 1976 to Adrienne Marshall and the late James Marshall, Mr. Marshall was a native Staten Islander. He grew up in Eltingville, graduating from Tottenville high school. Jimmy was an avid football player and fan, playing all through high school. He spent most of his days with his daughter, family and friends, and was rarely seen without a smile on his face.
Following in his father’s footsteps, Jimmy became a fireman with the FDNY in 2001. Mr. Marshall was a member of Ladder Co. 84 in Huguenot. He also spent part of his career at Engine 217 in Brooklyn.
Jimmy is survived by his daughter Annalise, whom he loved more than anything, his mother Adrienne, brothers Thomas and Vincent, grandmother Rose Bavaro, sister-in-law Alicia, niece Olivia, nephew Thomas and a loving extended family of Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
A visitation for James will be held Monday, October 12, 2020 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A funeral mass will occur Tuesday, at 11:00 AM October 13, 2020 at Holy Child Church, 4747 Amboy Rd, Staten Island, New York 10312. A burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery, 52 Tyler Ave, Staten Island, New York 10301.
