Edward Charles Williams, 93, died on Sunday, July 2 at Clove Lake, Staten Island. Born in Bayonne , Mr. Williams was a resident of Staten Island for the past fifty years. He served in the US Army and was stationed in Japan at the end of WW 11. Mr. Williams retired from Texaco and the City of New York. He was a member of the Great Kills Yacht Club for many years. Mr. Williams was predeceased by his parents, Albert and Alice Williams; brothers, Robert and Albert Williams, and sister Helen Eley.
He is survived by his children, Michael Brian of Red Bank NJ, Edward Charles Jr. of Colonia. NJ, Laura Wicinski of South Pasadena,Florida, and Kim Szmaida of North Bergen NJ; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral services are private.
