Born the youngest of five children to Philip and Josephine Rosso, brother of Philip, Ignazio, Charles and Vincenza. He was a graduate of New Dorp High School Class of 1966. He was a member of the United States Army and honorably discharged in 1974.
Married in 1971 to Diane Krause, the couple had three children, Danielle, Lisa and David. He owned and operated Staten Island Traffic Expediters for over 25 years. He then began working for the Department of Education as a member of the custodial staff and was fireman for P.S. 19.
Dave was an avid sports fan and enjoyed coaching his children and grandchildren in Little League, high school and travel ball. He loved his family, the New York Yankees and driving his Corvette.
He is survived by his wife Diane, daughter Danielle Marzo, son-in-law Christopher, daughter Lisa Simoncini, son-in-law Michael, son David, daughter-in-law Michelle and eight grandchildren, Sophia, Jake, Ethan, Mackenzie, Leah, Michaela, David and Amelia.
