Beloved mother and grandmother, was a hospital lab technician
Claire Conlin, a lifelong resident of Staten Island, passed away on February 4th at Staten Island University Hospital.
Claire was a 1954 graduate of St. John Villa Academy High School. She was employed as a Medical Laboratory Technician at the United States Public Health Service Hospital and Doctors Hospital.
Claire enjoyed collecting fine collectibles, completing the NY Times Sunday Crossword Puzzle, and donating to multiple charitable organizations.
She was married to Harry Conlin, Jr. of Rye, NY who pre deceased her in October of 1989. She is survived by her sons, Gregory and Henry, daughters-in-law, Phyllis and Denise, and grandchildren, Royce, Trevor, Meredith, Joseph, Gabrielle, and Peter.
Her parents, August and Philomena Abbruzzi, and younger sister, Angela Abbruzzi, all predeceased her.
Due to COVID 19, there will be no visitations. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 10 at 11 AM, at St. Sylvester's Church in Grasmere. Interment will be at Moravian Cemetery and is open to the public.
