Christine was born on October 23, 1982 in Manhattan. NY to Anthony and Virginia Siesto. She attended St. Clare's School, Moore Catholic High School, and received a Bachelor's Degree in English Studies from the College of Staten Island.
After receiving her degree, Christine started working as a substitute teacher at several parochial schools on the Island including St. Sylvester's and St. Christopher's before landing a permanent position at St. Christophers School.
During her 15 years at St. Christopher's, Christine was an assistant in the pre-k program and briefly taught kindergarten before taking over the first grade class as teacher. She was very dedicated to her students. She had a special bond with them as well as the faculty.
In 2023 when St. Christopher's School closed, Christine continued her passion of teaching at Sacred Heart School where she was the kindergarten teacher.
Her coworkers and friends describe her as "..the most amazing friend, coworker, and individual. She would drop everything to help others and never ask for anything in return." One parent said, "They say a teacher takes a hand, opens a mind, and touches a heart" 'and boy this couldn't be any truer.'
As a teen, Christine started working at the Wizard of Art. She went from working children's birthday parties to being a party planner. She worked there for over 20+ years. She was known affectionately as an "Elf" along with her other coworkers.
Besides being a devoted teacher, Christine was very dedicated to her family especially her nieces and nephew. They were her life and she always spoiled them. Her time with them was precious and she enjoyed taking them everywhere. It didn't matter if it was a movie, circus, amusement park, or even her favorite, Walmart. Any chance Christine had to spend with them she jumped at.
Christine had a loving relationship with her older brother, Joey. They were partners in crime. She enjoyed conspiring with him to annoy and play pranks on their younger sister, Jennifer.
Christine also had a special bond with her younger sister, Jennifer. They were practically inseparable. When you saw one of them the other wasn't far behind. Their bond was so strong that they often thought alike, spoke alike, and dressed alike. Christine liked to travel with her sister especially to Disney World and Cruises. Joining them on their many adventures were Christine's best friends Donna Siciliano & Gregg Galante.
Besides spending time traveling and with her nieces & nephew, Christine enjoyed cooking, arts and crafts, attending cake decorating classes with her sister in law Marisa, shopping with her mother and her favorite hobby, shopping on Amazon.
Christine is survived by her parents, Anthony & Virginia Siesto, her sister (Jennifer Siesto), brother Joseph and his wife Marisa, her nieces and nephew Jenna, Vincenzo, Nicolette, Amelia, & Ariana, and her fur baby Charlie. Christine is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
