Christine Anne Nixon passed away on May 22, 2022. Born on Staten Island, Christine lived in Pleasant Plains before moving to Great Kills at the age of six. She attended P.S. 3 and P.S. 8. She became a resident of Eger Health Care at the age of 9 where she received loving care through the years. Christine was a proud graduate of The Hungerford School. She then attended UCP/Adapt Community day programs.
Christine will be remembered mostly for her bright smile and sense of humor. Her joyous nature had an impact on all who knew her. She loved music, funny movies, drawing, and visits from friends and family.
She is survived by her parents, Brian and Nancy Nixon, her sister Melanie Cregin (Michael) and her nieces, Kelsey and Grace as well as her many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
A visitation for Christine will be held Tuesday, May 24, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Casey McCallum Rice South Shore Funeral Home, 30 Nelson Avenue, Staten Island, NY 10308. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, May 25, 2022 from 9:45 AM to 10:30 AM at St Clare's Church, 110 Nelson Avenue, Staten Island, NY 10308.
