Carol Ann Daly (nee Battaglia) passed away on March 25th at age 78, after suffering from Alzheimer's for the past 20 years. She was born in Manhattan, and after spending her summers in South Beach her family relocated there, and later settled in Sunnyside. Carol graduated from New Dorp High School and worked was a platform assistant at New York Community Bank for 30 years up until her illness. Carol loved spending time with her family and traveling. She was generous, and kind, and always had a smile on her face. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Michael, mother of Linda (Luke) Spano, Carol Iaciofoli, and Jeanne (Ray) Bivona. Adoring grandmother of John, Krista, Raymond, Luke, Nikki, and Jordan. A loving sister to brother, Thomas (Kathy) Battaglia and sister Flora Battaglia. She was predeceased by her parents Anthony and Jean Battaglia and brother Anthony Battaglia.
