Barbara Bruno Buckley

BARBARA BRUNO BUCKLEY (fondly known as Bubbles as lovingly nicknamed by her son-in-lalw), of Grasmere passed away peacefully surrounded by family on December 6, 2023. Born to John & Josephine Bruno in West Brighton, she is survived by her children, Barbara Fumando, Thomas Buckley (Adrian) and Steven Buckley (Denise). She is also survived by her granddaughter Janine Buckley and sister Rita (Aldo) Giovanucci, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She is recently pre-deceased by her son-in-law Michael Fumando as well as, her sister Mary (Richard) Nolan, brother John R. (Marie) Bruno, parents John Bruno & Josephine Bruno. Barbara graduated from College of Staten Island and was a Registered Nurse for 40 years at St. Vincent's Medical Center, Staten Island. She is a parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel-St. Benedicta Church. Her "bubbly" laugh and personality will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Friends can be received on Sunday, December 10, 2023 from 2pm - 6pm at Casey Funeral Home, Slosson Avenue with Funeral Mass on Monday, December 11, 2023 at 11am at Our Lady Of Mt. Carmel-St. Benedicta Church with entombment following at Moravian Cemetery.
