Walter Edmond Dulski, 72, of Stamford, CT, passed away peacefully at home on March 23, 2014 with his loving family by his side. Walter was born in Stamford, CT to Stanley and Laura Dulski on April 30th, 1941. Walter was a member of the first graduating class at Stamford Catholic High School in 1960, and then went onto receive a B.S. in Economics from Villanova University, graduating in only three years.
After graduation, Walter began his career at Ferris Manufacturing Company and then Acme Visible Records. He soon ventured out on his own and co-founded First Asset Management, which he took public in his twenties. He acquired a seat on the American Stock Exchange where he spent several years before moving onto Euro Brokers, a global international broker dealer located at the World Trade Center. During his 25-year tenure at Euro Brokers, he served in various capacities including Senior Executive Vice President. He eventually became a Principle Owner and sat on the Board of Directors, before retiring in 2001.
Walter could accomplish anything he set his mind to, with a will and tenacity second to
none. Those who knew him well will forever miss his generosity, sense of humor, and engaging personality. Walter’s greatest pastime was vacationing with his family in the bays of Sag Harbor where he enjoyed boating, clamming, fishing, and swimming.
Walter spent the majority of his life in Stamford where he built many friendships and raised his family. Walter is survived by his wife, Judith Nelson Dulski, his son John Dulski and wife Heather, his son Jared Dulski and wife Amy, and his son Dr. Stephen Dulski and girlfriend Dr. Katherine Cody. He is also survived by his two loving grandchildren Sam and Charlie, who brought much joy into his life. Also surviving Walter are his brothers Stanley and wife Mary Anne, Gerald and wife Joan, and Paul and wife Debra as well as many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his faithful and loving dog, Lucy.
