Sandra was deeply involved in several organizations such as ORT (a non-profit Jewish organization providing education and aid worldwide) and also raising money for the American Cancer Society where she would walk door-to-door asking for donations. She always put others before herself. She was an avid bowler and tennis player who loved her dogs very much (including her grandpuppies).
Sandra worked as an Administrative Assistant at Fordham Marble in Stamford, Olin Corporation in Norwalk, NL Industries in NYC, and Timet in NYC. She took 18 years off to be a stay-at-home-mom to her daughter Debra and was heavily involved in her school and activities.
Sandra is predeceased by her husband Samuel J. “Sid” Siegel. She is survived by her daughter Debra Leigh Siegel of Plainfield, CT; her brother Herbert Lilling and his wife Kathleen of Silver Spring, MD; her brother Paul Lilling of Maitland, FL, her sister Linda Lilling of Glastonbury, CT; and nieces and nephews.
