On August 2, Bob’s long journey through dementia came to an end. He leaves behind, his loving wife, Linda Cassin Cremin. He loved and was so proud of his kids, Sam (Annette) Lisa (Bruce Harlan) Mallory (Rob Rutherford) Marian (Albert DeSilver) Loving G’pa to Sydney, Lindsey, Robert, Kate, Meg, Cassius and Noah.
A funny and kind uncle and brother in law to the Cassin and Moodie clans.
Born in New Rochelle and raised in Larchmont, NY.
Predeceased by his parents, Victor and Marian Halstead Cremin and a sister, Kay Cremin Moodie.
A proud member of Williams’s class of ’51, the institution that Bob loved and where he made lifelong friends. No person ever worked harder and with more joy at keeping in touch with his rolodex of friends.
A successful and fun filled career in Advertising and Sales. Bob retired early and enjoyed life to the fullest. A voracious reader, great singer, the best story teller, thoughtful photographer, overall good athlete, coach, sports fan and avid golfer.
A longtime member of The Stanwich Club in Greenwich, CT.
