Louis G. Pucci, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday July 22, 2017. Lou was born on January 1, 1918, in the North Mianus section of Greenwich to his parents Angelo and Frances (Coschignano) Pucci. He was 99 years young.
"Yosh" as he was known to family and friends was a welder for Luder's Corporation until his induction into the U.S. Navy during WWII. After his discharge in May of 1946, he worked for the Electrolux Corporation in Old Greenwich, CT, retiring after 38 years of service as a Maintenance Foreman.
He enjoyed working with his hands, taking care and pride maintaining his home and property. Loved to play a round of golf with friends, kept a beautiful garden, a Yankee fan, and was always ready to watch a big prize fight. A kind, gentle and thoughtful person, one never needed to ask him for his help. He was there before they could.
Lou is survived by his son Louis of Stamford and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife of 69 years Pearl (Scipione), five sisters; Mary Spagnolo, Rose Purdy, Jean Galasso, Theresa Brink and Angelina Perna, and by three brothers; Sabastian, Joseph, and Nicholas Pucci.
