Lila J. Stoll

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we share the news that Lila Stoll (95) passed away in her home on March 21, 2022 in Stamford, CT. She’s been a resident of Stamford for over 68 years and was surrounded by her family.

Lila had a zest for an active life with a superb memory and recall with precise detail for many of the special events of her life. She was born on July 28, 1926 in Brighton Beach Brooklyn, NY and was predeceased in 2005 by her husband of 58 years Herbert J. Stoll, her brother Arthur Velcoff and also is survived by her sister-in-law Norie Velcoff.

Lila is survived by her loving children, Barry Stoll (Jill McCarthy) of Dedham, MA., Bonnie Stoll of Los Angeles, CA and Robin A. Morris, (Stuart) of Stamford, CT.

Lila is also survived by her cherished grandchildren; Jason Stoll, Bryan Stoll, Jesse Morris, Jake Morris (Matthew Yanovitch), Sydney Abelson (Jack) & Kennedy (great grandchild).

A Memorial Service is planned for Wednesday, March 23, 2022 @ 11:00am at Leo P. Gallagher and Son Funeral Home located at 2900 Summer St. Stamford, CT.

The Stoll and Morris Family would like to extend their deepest thanks to all our Friends for their support during this time of sorrow. We all will miss Lila’s great vitality and infectious energy.
