Ellis Tyrone Patterson

He was kind, smart, stubborn, funny and a masterful storyteller.

Tyrone adored his children, Simone and Eric and his new granddaughter, Sommer. He cherished his mother, father, siblings, nieces, nephews, aunt, the many cousins who were more like siblings, his friends and the beloved family members who preceded him in death.

He was so very loved in return.

The Patterson Family extends our sincere gratitude to Ms. Deidrea “Dee” Davis who helped care for Tyrone during his illness and is mother to his treasured children. We know she will miss him deeply.

Tyrone’s is a story of someone who was truly loved on Earth.

Just days before he transitioned, with a smile Tyrone shared that his Nana (who everybody knew as Nana) had been visiting him. He said that she had been bringing him water and generally staying close by. Nana had doted upon him in this realm until her death in 1987.

His family is comforted knowing that he will continue to be loved and cared for in Heaven.

A visitation for Ellis will be held Tuesday, November 30, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, 2900 Summer St, Stamford, Connecticut 06905, followed by a celebration of life from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
