Jerry is survived by his daughters, Katrina Staats and Candace Staats; his sons, Joshua Staats and Jerry Staats Jr.; his grandchildren, Desaray, Oryan, Daytona, Monika, Madison, Mathis, Cyrus, Quinn, Brandon, Mya. Arianna, Austyn, and Anbria; and his two great grandchildren.
He will also be greatly missed by his sister, Kathy Shiflett (Jimmie); and his brothers, Robbie Staats, Steve Staats (Sharon), and Frankie Staats (Sharon Marie).
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Joan Staats.
Jerry was a loving father, grandfather and brother. Jerry enjoyed being outdoors, and a heart for working with plants and trees. He loved his motorcycle! Jerry was married to Pamela Holmes for 21 years. Jerry was a hard worker and had a dedicated work ethic. He worked for Branscome Paving for 24 years.
A visitation for Jerry will be held Friday, December 30, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, 186 Shelton Shop Rd, Stafford, Virginia 22554. A celebration of life will occur Friday, December 30, 2022 at 12:00 PM, 186 Shelton Shop Rd, Stafford, Virginia 22554. A burial will occur Friday, December 30, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Stafford Memorial Park, 154 Shelton Shop Road, Stafford, Virginia.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Jerry's name to the American Cancer Society.
Serving as pallbearers are Joshua Staats, Oryan Bushur, James Robinson, Frankie Staats, T.C Culbertson and Steve Staats.
