Essie Virginia Elmore

Essie V. Elmore age 85, passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2024. Essie was born May 3, 1939 in West Virginia to Lula Cox and Pearl Cox. Essie is survived by Nancy Bailey (daughter), Carol Estep (daughter) and Carl Elmore (son). She was preceded in death by Carlton Elmore (husband), Pearl Cox (father), and Lula Cox (mother), Anita Mountjoy (daughter), Brenda Harman (daughter), Mary Dotson (sister), Ronald Cox (brother), Roger Cox (brother) and Emma Baggett (granddaughter). Surviving grandchildren, Amy Baggett, Jessica Chain, Brittney Green, Michael Davidson, Dale Estep, Carl Elmore, Tiffany Irvin, Richard Elmore, and Angela Elmore. Along with 25 great grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. A visitation for Essie will be held Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at 12:00 PM at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, 186 Shelton Shop Rd, Stafford, Virginia 22554. A celebration of life will occur Wednesday, November 20, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM, 186 Shelton Shop Rd, Stafford, Virginia 22554. A graveside will occur Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Stafford Memorial Park, 154 Shelton Shop Rd, Stafford, Virginia 22554.
