Virginia B. O'Connor

Virginia was born on March 27, 1930 in Tickfaw, Louisiana to Mary and Tony Bonfiglio. She is preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Tony Bonfiglio, her first husband, Thomas Guy O’Connor, and son, Timothy O’Connor.

Virginia is survived by her husband, Billy Allen, son, Keith O’Connor, daughter, Mary Beth Bostic, granddaughter, Madeline Bostic, grandsons, Brian Bostic, Sean, Neal, and Christopher O’Connor, step-children, Gayla Jones, step-son, Bart Allen and several nieces and nephews.

Virginia was married to Guy O'Connor for 43 years before his passing in 1994. Ginny re-married Billy Allen 7 years after Guy's passing. Over the past 20 years of marriage Ginny enjoyed traveling with Billy to various locations in the U.S. and Mexico for vacations. She was an incredible cook and loved gardening. Ginny also loved visiting and socializing with friends and family and always had a smile on her face when in the company of others. She was an avid storyteller and it will be surprising to all if she doesn't wake up to talk about the beauty of Heaven at her own service!

A private Memorial Service is scheduled for 12:00 noon at Earthman Southwest Funeral Home on Friday, August 6, 2021. In lieu of flowers please consider donations to Camp Kesem at: https://donate.kesem.org/fundraiser/2961436 to benefit the children of parents undergoing cancer treatment to attend the supportive resource of camp kesem summer camp.
