Our beloved Linda Rosa Garcia-Ramirez passed away peacefully on October 8, 2023, surrounded by her husband and children. She was born July 5, 1958, in Wharton, Texas. She was preceded in death by her nephew, Roy Palacios, father, Jesus Garcia, mother, Micaela Garcia, and her brothers, Natividad and Tony Garcia.
Linda is survived by her loving spouse, Eli, her son, Manuel, her daughters, Casey and Micaela, her grandchildren, Nathan, Ellie, Jacob, Kendall, Penelope, Mila, her brothers, Julio, Hignio, Jessie, Bennie, and her sisters, Maria, Tina, Minnie, Eva, her twin Rosa, and Elena.
She grew up in a little town, Pierce, Texas, where she lived, played, and made many memories with her 6 brothers and 6 sisters. She was a graduate of Wharton High School and dedicated over 40 years to the banking industry, where she met her love of 38 years and made many special friends.
Linda was a mother who adored her children and constantly gave unselfishly. She was a doting grandmother who loved her grandchildren and every moment spent with them. She loved attending baseball and softball games, swim meets, school functions and anything that allowed her to admire and spend time with her grandchildren. She found so much joy in spending time with her grandchildren and creating cherished memories that will be treasured by her family. Linda’s next best thing to being called a child of God, would be Momo.
Linda was a member of Sugar Creek Baptist Church and Bethel Ministry, where she found solace and community. Her faith in Jesus Christ was an important part of her life and provided her with strength and guidance.
Linda Rosa Garcia will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched. Her legacy will live on through the positive impact she made on her family and friends and her unwavering faith.
In John 11:25, the bible says, “He who believes in me will live, even though he dies.”
LG (Living Godly) is more alive than those of us who are still here.
