Gary Louis Burns was born in Baytown, Texas, on December 6, 1948. He died on November 28, 2015, in Sugar Land, Texas. He was preceded in death by his father, Ivan Louis Burns. He is survived by his mother, Trixie Burns, of Baytown; by his son, Gabriel Burns of League City; by his daughter, Carly Jones and her husband Brendan and their children - Nathaniel, Sara Parker, and Henry, of The Woodlands; and by his sister, Gloria Perkins and her husband Delton, of Baytown.
